Şebnem TOKER BAHAR
She was born in Istanbul and attended primary, middle and high school in Istanbul.
Between 1987-88 she participated in ceramic lessons at Oktay Anılanmert’s atelier in the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
Between 1988-89 she attended the undergraduate program of Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts.
In 1992 she graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts in the Ceramics section. The same year she took pedagogical formation in the Painting section of Anadolu University Faculty of Education.
Between 1992-2005 she taught in private establishments such as kindergartens, primary schools and high schools.
She opened her own Ceramics atelier in 2003.
Between 2009-13 she became a member of the executive board of the Antalya Foundation for Culture and Arts and was the Arts Coordinator. She wasa jury member in the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival where she contributed in the organization of the festival.
In 2014 she opened the ŞebnemBahar Art&Design Gallery, where she still gives Glass and Ceramic workshops.
